What does balance technology mean for posture, load capacity, and daily functioning?

The movements of the upper body ensure that the balance wheelchair starts moving or stops, thereby enforcing a straight and active sitting posture. In contrast to a regular wheelchair, where a static and curved posture is common, the body is stimulated to actively use the core muscles. The torso is stretched upwards and is actively moving while in use.
