Workshops

Practice, experience, and apply.

At 2KERR, our specialists are not only available as advisors for clients; they also provide workshops and share knowledge daily with the field. Think of sessions for schools, (ergonomists and physiotherapists), municipalities, and healthcare organizations. Always with the same approach: how to effectively use the balance wheelchair, what works in practice, and what insights you can already apply tomorrow.

Workshop balance wheelchairs

This practical workshop is intended for ergonomists and physiotherapists who want to better advise clients about the balance wheelchair. In half a day, you will learn what balance technique is, when to use which type (active, passive, electric), and what that means for posture, load, and daily use. You will get to try out different models (including iBOT, Hoss) and practice in recognizable scenarios: narrow hallways, thresholds, forest, and beach surfaces. Participation is free of charge, including lunch, and you will receive 3 accreditation points.

Learning objectives – by the end you will be able to:

  • Explain what a wheelchair with balance technique  is and how it works in practice.
  • Distinguish the differences between types of balance wheelchairs  and appropriately match them to a user.
  • Formulate concrete advice for daily situations (turns, thresholds, transfers).
  • Outline the route to reimbursement and identify further steps for your client.
