Curious about how a balance wheelchair works and operates? During the event, students can view various balance wheelchairs and personally experience how this technology works in practice. From active models that are fully controlled by your body to variants with extra support including joystick options.
Additionally, we will share the story behind 2KERR and demonstrate how innovation, ergonomics, and independent movement come together within mobility technology.

Through 2KERR Academy, we offer workshops, guest lectures, and inspiration sessions on balance wheelchairs, mobility technology, and innovation in practice.
We conduct workshops at schools, universities, business clubs, care institutions, and events. Depending on the target audience, we tailor the content to technology, ergonomics, mobility, entrepreneurship, marketing, or innovation in healthcare and technology.
During these sessions, we not only share the story behind 2KERR but also allow participants to experience how balance technology works in practice. There will be opportunities to view different balance wheelchairs, ask questions, and try out products.
For students, the focus is often on innovation, ergonomics, and technology. For professionals and organizations, we look more at mobility, employability, practical applications, and future-oriented healthcare solutions.

In addition to external workshops, we also organize extensive practical workshops in our Experience Center in Hedel. These workshops are specifically developed for occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and professionals who want to better advise clients on balance wheelchairs and mobility technology.
During an interactive half-day session, you will learn what balance technology is, how different types of balance wheelchairs work, and when to choose an active, passive, or electrically supported model.
Alongside theory, you will also try out various balance wheelchairs and practice in recognizable everyday situations such as curbs, slopes, and different surfaces.
