Back to your day

The vacation is coming to an end. Agendas are filling up again, schools are starting, and for many people, the regular rhythm begins anew.

Heading to work. Dropping children off at school. Running errands. From appointment to appointment. It is precisely in these daily moments that you realize whether your balance wheelchair truly moves along with your life.

Let yourself be inspired

What does a day with a balance wheelchair look like when work and school start again? From being on your way to work or education to moving around at the office, in the classroom, or on the playground: every day and environment asks for something different.

Within the 2KERR community, people share how they use their balance wheelchairs for work, study, and everything in between. Which solutions work for them? And how does the right match ensure that your balance wheelchair fits what your day requires of you?

Back to work, but you have to get there.

For Norman, returning to his job as a police instructor after his accident was a clear goal.

However, his first wheelchair turned out not to be suitable for his workday. His training sessions regularly take place outdoors, on training grounds with grass, gravel, sand, hills, and curbs.

During a testing morning at 2KERR, he tried out various options. The Genny Zero ultimately proved to be the best fit for what he needed.

“It moves effortlessly through sand and gravel and over grass, hills, and curbs.”

With support from UWV, the balance wheelchair was made possible. Norman now works 38 hours a week in the same position as before his accident.

Renting is also an option!

Do you want to go on vacation, spend a weekend away, visit a festival, or just have a day out, but do you not (yet) have a balance wheelchair? Then renting is a smart solution. This way, you can experience how much freedom a balance wheelchair can provide without making an immediate purchase.
