The HandbikeBattle - and why 2KERR is involved?

The HandbikeBattle is a climb in the Austrian Alps that shows what is indeed possible. Especially for individual participants - without a rehabilitation center behind them - a team is indispensable. That's why there is Team 2KERR: a safety net with joint training sessions, logistical support (such as transportation of handbikes), and support along the route. This way, participants aren't alone, and their confidence grows step by step.

Looking back at HandbikeBattle 2025

What a journey. From the first joint training to the last hairpin turn in Austria: Team 2KERR showed what you can achieve together. We saw quiet mornings with raincoats and coffee, short stops to check tire pressure, and big smiles with every kilometer gained. On the day of the competition itself, support rang out along the route, water bottles were handed out, and there was a celebration at the finish line. Participants shared how the team spirit helped them persevere, and how the collective training gave them confidence on the difficult sections.
