Sabrina has MS and receives a balance wheelchair thanks to a fundraising campaign

Sabrina lives with her husband and three children in Tilburg. Due to MS, she is gradually losing more mobility. What she finds most difficult is no longer being able to naturally participate with her children and family.
Until she experienced the Genny Zero for the first time at 2KERR.
The Genny Zero is not a standard electric wheelchair, but a balance wheelchair that you control by moving your body. That active movement immediately felt right for Sabrina. "With MS, you often hear: use it or lose it. So I want to keep moving and stay active wherever possible," Sabrina explains.

The Genny Zero gives Sabrina the freedom to participate again in the daily moments that are important to her. She can go to the forest again, independently go up and down curbs, to the dunes, and even go outside when it has snowed. She can also play frisbee in the park with her children again. "It takes me out of my currently small dependent life, which I am often very sad about," says Sabrina.
During the test drive, she immediately noticed what a balance wheelchair could mean for her. "During the test drive, I felt like myself again for the first time in years: free and on the move. As if I have working legs again! With the Genny Zero, I can go outside again, do things spontaneously, and really be there for my family."
In the meantime, Sabrina has been able to pick up her Genny Zero at 2KERR, thanks to the support of no less than 112 donations during her fundraising campaign. This allows her to go outside spontaneously again, stay active, and truly participate with her family.
